I went cold turkey with my kids & the TV this week. Considering I took them to the library on Thursday (which I haven't done in a LOOOOONG time) I think it's been going well. Of course, we read all the books they picked out within the first hour we were home from the library.
The books I checked out for me are taking a bit longer, since the kids no longer have the TV distraction. ;)
